The existing bathroom was in urgent need of repair and renovation. Once the original fittings and services were removed, it became clear that the subfloor had previously suffered from water ingress and was no longer fit for purpose. To address this, BBS carried out a complete subfloor replacement, installing 22 mm P5 tongue-and-groove boards bonded with polyurethane wood adhesive. This approach ensured a solid, movement-free base, providing maximum strength, stability, and long-term durability.

The design was client-led, featuring a carefully selected palette of natural, earthy tones. Grey matt porcelain tiles were used on both the walls and floor, complemented by BAL Micromax3 Eco Grout in Antique White. All bathroom accessories were finished in brushed bronze, adding a refined, high-end touch and creating a sophisticated overall look.

The shower niche and basin cabinet are both illuminated with COB LED strip lighting in ultra warm white, creating a soft and ambient glow. Powered by a PIR sensor, the lighting automatically activates when someone enters the room. These features are further enhanced with smart technology, offering compatibility with all leading voice control platforms, along with a single-colour remote for easy adjustment of brightness and timing.

All services were meticulously installed with dedicated local isolation points to allow for effortless future maintenance. Pipework was expertly formed in copper and completed using Pegler Xpress copper fittings, selected for their exceptional quality, durability, and long-term reliability—ensuring a refined finish and lasting performance throughout.
